Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain excellent business relationship with the New and Existing customers.
  • Handling Export / Import for sales independently.
  • Follow up with the overseas / Air customer for shipment confirmation.
  • Follow up with the shipper / forwarder for the container pick up.
  • Co-ordination with clients for Export / Import related matters.
  • Negotiate with shipping line for best rates to clients.
  • Follow up with the client / customer for booking of containers
  • Keeping the track of payment of client / customer
  • The goal is to efficiently generate growth in revenue, as budgeted, prospects and customers and manage the overall business development.
  • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies.
  • Building business relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Contribute to revenue growth
  • Responsible for the management and handling of the RFQ response documents.
  • Maintain all account and new business prospects.
  • Should maintain healthy sales pipelines
  • Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns.
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service.
  • Setting sales quotas and goals.
  • Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities.
  • Provides weekly EOWs & monthly Sales Report to General Manager regarding sales performance.
  • Assists Sales Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.

Locations – Noida
Experience – 4 to 5 years
Education – Graduate / MBA preferred

Job Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and coordinate spot rates and/or quotations for LCL, FCL, air shipments and all services within our clients database.
  • Display a thorough understanding of industry-related terminology and processes.
  • Strategize ways of increasing profits margins, while keeping cost at a minimum.
  • Assist the sales team with business development and securing new business initiatives.
  • Work with the pricing, operations and accounting team.
  • Follow and implement FMC compliance and procedures.
  • Keep abreast with the freight worldwide market and provide the information to all parties.
  • Communicate with management on pricing desk performance and any issues that arise.
  • Follow up of quotations as needed and communicate the positive or negative feedback in respect of being able to source the competitive rate to support the closure of all business opportunities.
  • Manage the login of all quotes and follow up into our clients proprietary CRM.
  • Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
  • Data entry in Cargo Wise system as required.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as requested or assigned by management.
  • Understand clients’ needs in order to strategy the costing and or pricing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, college degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience in the import/freight forwarding industry.
  • Must have comprehensive understanding of selling principles.
  • Must have experience in air freight pricing.
  • Experience working with Cargo Wise is a plus.
  • Knowledge of air operations.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written), and the ability to resolve conflicts in a professional and urgent manner.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordination with IATA for routine shipments and taking rates from them.
• Quoting rates to the customers, overseas and sales team
• Coordination with IATA for booking and shipment status.
• Coordination with overseas partners for concern shipments.
• Coordination with suppliers for status of their shipments.
• Making PRE-ALERT and sending to the counterpart for NOMINATION shpts.
• Taking approval from Counterpart for NOMINATION shpts.
• Coordination with suppliers for status of their shipments, arranging shipments
• verifying checklists/ awbs. (Should be aware and can do if concerned person is not available)
• Daily shipments Tracking.
• Billing of shipments
